Tarai Rebranding
This project involved a full rebranding of an Italian restaurant based in Seoul, focusing on creating a cohesive and contemporary visual identity while preserving the restaurant’s cultural roots. The scope of the project covered the entire visual system, including logo design, typography, color palette, graphic patterns, and branded applications.
The new logo features an illustrated chef character, referencing Italian culinary tradition through a playful and approachable form. Hand-drawn lines and minimal detailing were used to create warmth and personality, allowing the identity to feel authentic rather than overly polished. The visual system balances character-driven illustration with structured design elements, ensuring consistency across both physical and digital touch points. To demonstrate real-world application, the identity was extended across a range of mockups such as takeaway packaging, aprons, business cards, and other branded materials. The final result presents a unified brand experience that translates seamlessly across customer interactions, from in-store presence to takeout and promotional materials.
